Twitter Poll Highlights Support for Cryptocurrencies among U.S. Presidential Candidates

A Twitter poll initiated by the head of MicroStrategy has gone viral on the subject of whether U.S. presidential candidates should support people’s right to use cryptocurrencies.

As the 2024 presidential election draws near, the debate is also going viral among crypto-enthusiasts.

With digital assets playing an important role in candidates’ political campaigns, Michael Saylor set up a poll asking people if it was important for the candidate they were going to vote for to support cryptocurrencies.

As of May 29 31,200 Twitter users had participated in the poll. Of those, nearly 84% said yes, and only 16% of Saylor readers voted no;

Indeed, recently some American political leaders have been increasingly vocal about their willingness to grow the cryptocurrency industry if elected to the presidency.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently criticized the Joe Biden administration’s approach to crypto assets.

The governor is concerned that too harsh measures of regulators may completely suppress the development of the industry in the country.

DeSantis assures that he opposes the introduction of the digital dollar and supports bitcoin.

Democratic Party candidate Robert F.. Robert Kennedy Jr. is also convinced that bitcoin can save people from financial collapse.

The politician promised that if he became president, he would protect the rights of bitcoin owners and miners.
