Venom Foundation Partners with Kenyan Government to Create Pan-African Blockchain Hub

Venture investment firm Venom Foundation announced a strategic partnership with the Kenyan government to create a pan-African blockchain hub.

The company’s Kenyan unit is going to focus on developing applications for Venom’s Web3 solutions and blockchain for use in key sectors of Kenya’s economy:

financial infrastructure, supply chain, agriculture, SMEs and cross-border trade.

According to the Venom Foundation’s plans, the Kenyan blockchain hub is to become a central cross-state platform for African companies and other stakeholders to partner and share knowledge.

In addition to its educational and general communication role, Venom intends to work with African governments’ projects related to digital transformation, the voting system, land registry and asset tokenization.

Earlier, venture capital firm Venom Foundation, in partnership with Iceberg Capital, announced
a $1 billion Venom Ventures Fund (VVF) to develop the Web3 industry.
