Cardano Founder Reveals Game-Changing Plan for Unmatched Scalability

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson is set to revolutionize the scalability of the Cardano blockchain with a groundbreaking plan. At a recent event, Hoskinson announced his intentions to make Cardano the leader in scalability. In a tweet by Cardano developer IOG, Hoskinson emphasized that the introduction of Leios, rollups in PlutusV3, and the Hydra scaling solution will combine to create unparalleled scalability for Cardano.

Leios, a variant of the Ouroboros family, is designed to significantly improve throughput while maintaining high levels of security. Existing variants of the Ouroboros algorithm have limitations in terms of data and CPU processing, hindering their scalability. Leios aims to address these issues by introducing a new algorithm design.

Cardano has recently achieved significant milestones, including the launch of the Chang 1 upgrade, which marked a transition to a fully community-governed ecosystem. The team has also released updates, such as Cardano node v.9.1.1, to address technical issues. The Lace team has been working on enhancing accessibility and functionality for hardware wallet users and is preparing for the release of Lace v.1.16 in the near future.

With Hoskinson’s game-changing plan, Cardano is poised to become the industry leader in scalability, solidifying its position as a top blockchain platform.
