Deutsche Telekom, which also owns U.S. carrier T-Mobile, announced it is now acting as a validator for Polygon. The direct business processes for Polygon’s Proof-of-Stake network stacking and validation service will be organized through a subsidiary of Multimedia Solutions (MMS).

“The collaboration with Polygon is an important step for Deutsche Telekom MMS to harness the potential of blockchain technology and create applications suitable for mass deployment,” announced Dirk Röder, head of Deutsche Telekom’s Blockchain Solutions Center.
.
MMS will manage the full node, produce blocks, verify and participate in network consensus, and fix control points in Ethereum. This is expected to protect the Polygon Proof-of-Stake sidechain and the Supernets chain, improving security, governance and decentralization of the protocols.
Last October, Deutsche Telekom announced
about launching its own transaction validation node on the Etherium blockchain to support stacking on the network of the second-capitalized cryptocurrency.
