FTX Europe Launches Service Allowing Customers to Withdraw Fiat Balances

FTX Europe, a Cypriot-based subsidiary of the FTX exchange, has rolled out a new service that allows its customers to withdraw their fiat balance from the platform.

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySE) has approved the new domain name, https://ftxeurope.eu/.

However, FTX Europe has confirmed that its CySE license remains suspended, and users will only be able to withdraw funds without any additional services or products being offered.

FTX EU, which is financially stable, is currently paying out its customers through https://t.co/MEw8Oz8vTk. It’s worth noting that most of FTX’s European citizens are not FTX EU users since FTX EU only onboarded customers registered from March 2022 onwards for some unknown reason.

According to a tweet by FTX 2.0pium (FTX Creditor), European customers of FTX Europe were supposed to be able to apply for withdrawals starting March 30th. However, some users have reported that the website is currently malfunctioning or unresponsive.

In a separate development, FTX Japan, another international branch of the FTX Group, began the process of withdrawing funds through the Liquid Japan payment platform, although some users are experiencing difficulties withdrawing their funds.
