NABU Launches CryptoEdge Training to Tackle Modern Corruption through Cryptocurrency Technology

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine will begin to study the cryptocurrency sector. The agency believes that cryptocurrencies are another method of modern corruption.

“More than 250 detectives and NABU analysts began to study the tools of modern corruption – cryptocurrency technology.

We understand that some of the stolen funds corrupt officials are trying to hide in cryptocurrency,” the NABU said in a statement.

It is also known that in order to uncover crimes using cryptocurrencies will be created a 9-month training “CryptoEdge”. It will be coordinated by Sergey Krapiva, a cyber expert.

This will be the largest such training in the history of the Bureau, in 9 months it will be attended by leading experts in digital currencies, top trainers from Ukraine and around the world.

Also developers of analytical tools and, of course, representatives of the cryptocurrency community will be present.

At the training, NABU analysts will be able to improve their knowledge of tracking and documenting illegal cryptocurrencies and the most popular tools.

In addition, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine will cooperate with leading Ukrainian and global cryptocurrency exchanges and exchange information with international law enforcement organizations.

The training will begin in May 2023 and will end in January 2024.
