Presidential Debate: 74% Think Kamala Harris Will Win

Presidential Debate: 74% Predict Kamala Harris to Emerge as the Winner

In a groundbreaking revelation, Polymarket, the world’s largest prediction market, declares that Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to secure a victory in the forthcoming Presidential Debate on September 10th. According to their estimations, Harris holds a staggering 74% chance of triumph, leaving former President Donald Trump with a meager 27% likelihood.

It is crucial to note that the outcome of the Presidential Debate does not directly mirror the final result of the US elections. Nevertheless, a victorious performance in the debate can significantly influence the overall sentiment and enthusiasm surrounding a candidate’s campaign.

Furthermore, Polymarket offered additional betting options centered around specific topics that may be addressed by the respective candidates during the debate. An overwhelming 90% of participants believe that Harris will address the topic of ‘abortion,’ while 59% anticipate a mention of ‘convicted felons’ among other featured subjects.

In contrast, only 9% of respondents believe that Harris will touch upon ‘crypto/Bitcoin’ during her speech. Interestingly, a notable 30% believe that she will discuss ‘artificial intelligence (AI).’ This sentiment evokes reminiscence of a recent US Senate legislative priorities list, which seemingly ignored crypto while emphasizing the importance of AI.

On a similar note, predictions regarding former President Trump’s remarks during the debate emphasize that 82% anticipate him talking about ‘abortion,’ and 77% foresee a discussion on the topic of ‘Border Czar.’ Surprisingly, only 14% of participants believe that his speech will include opinions related to ‘crypto.’ These predictions seem to downplay the significance of crypto in Trump’s public addresses, despite his consistent mention of the topic. In a recent event, Trump even vowed to transform the United States into the global capital of cryptocurrency.

While these numbers from Polymarket provide fascinating insights into public perceptions, the actual outcome of the Presidential Debate and its impact on the election results remain to be seen.
