What to Anticipate for Bitcoin (BTC) in the Upcoming Period? Eminent Analyst Shares Insights

Renowned cryptocurrency analyst Michaël van de Poppe has recently provided his thoughts on the current state of Bitcoin.

According to van de Poppe, Bitcoin’s price has witnessed an impressive surge, surpassing expectations in the build-up to the halving event and even outperforming previous halvings.

Van de Poppe suggests that, during this cycle, Bitcoin’s price could potentially rally anywhere from $300,000 to $600,000, serving as the peak point. The cryptocurrency community is eagerly awaiting the halving event, which is expected to take place in approximately 21 days.

However, the analyst is not pushing for the $100,000 target that has been widely discussed in recent weeks. Van de Poppe believes that this target will not be achieved suddenly, emphasizing the continued relevance of the four-year BTC price cycle. In his view, areas around $60,000 will continue to offer support, while resistance levels will persist near the current all-time high.

Furthermore, when examining the overall cryptocurrency market value, van de Poppe asserts that a consolidation phase may occur before the rally resumes.

Turning to altcoins, van de Poppe highlights the potential for strong performance among cryptocurrencies within the Ethereum ecosystem, citing ATOM and DOT as promising contenders.
