Tether introduced software to manage ASIC miners

Tether developers are preparing to release software that, if promises are to be believed, will make it easier to manage ASIC miners and make bitcoin mining more efficient.

CTO Paolo Ardoino said that the company is preparing new JavaScript libraries that will allow the WhatsMiner, AvalonMiner and Antminer series devices to be managed by the company. In the future, some parts of this set of libraries may be posted as open source software.

Ardoino stated that he himself was involved in the creation of a tool designed to manage large-scale mining farms. The software is made using Holepunch technology, he said.

“The development team has almost finished creating Javascript libraries to control and interact with the miners. Really quality material, modular, polished to a shine. I directly created the underlying architecture of our Moria tool,” Tether’s CTO wrote.

With the Moria tool, you don’t need complex network filtering rules for security – each device has its own key that authorizes control, and an attacker without that key can’t do any harm. This allows for faster software deployment, making it easier to scale the system.

Ardoino recently reported that USDT, Tether’s stablecoin, is under sustained pressure by about 10 basis points.
