Tether has created a division for blockchain training

Tether, the issuer of the USDT stablecoin, has unveiled Tether Edu, a unique educational division aimed at cultivating expertise in the realm of blockchain and digital technologies.

Tether Edu will prioritize courses and workshops covering subjects such as blockchain, design, artificial intelligence (AI), and programming. Through this initiative, Tether hopes to expedite the widespread adoption of the USDT stablecoin, ultimately reshaping the economic landscape. Tether Edu plans to expand its reach across various markets including Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe, CIS countries, and Asia.

Tether’s management has revealed its intentions to build a comprehensive educational environment in collaboration with industry experts. In addition to conducting its own educational activities, Tether Edu will coordinate with existing projects in the Tether ecosystem, fortify partnerships with the Academy of Digital Industry in Georgia and the Thai crypto exchange, Bitkub, and continue funding the Plan B Summer School in Lugano, Switzerland.

Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, emphasized that stablecoins like USDT transcend conventional transactions. He referred to stablecoins as catalysts capable of rewriting the entire economic history, making education and knowledge exchange paramount.

“The Tether Edu project holds great significance for me. No, this is not merely another blockchain course… Tether Edu strives to establish a comprehensive international educational and technical platform, facilitating online training across various industries,” conveyed Ardoino.

Last year, Ripple also forged a partnership with the University of Toronto to conduct educational seminars, research, and technical advancements in the blockchain field. Furthermore, Moscow Financial and Industrial University, “Synergy,” unveiled a dedicated blockchain and cryptocurrency department, undertaking the instruction of smart contract programming for its students.
