Aethir, a blockchain-based cloud computing platform, has achieved significant milestones in its launch month, positioning itself as a potential rival to RNDR, another popular decentralized rendering network.
The highlight of Aethir’s launch month was the successful launch of its utility token, ATH. ATH is the core element of Aethir’s DePIN (Decentralized Peer-to-Peer InterNetworking) stack and plays a crucial role in enabling community members to earn rewards through various activities such as Checker Nodes, Aethir Edge computing, and staking.
To ensure easy market access for users, ATH was listed on more than 15 cryptocurrency exchanges within a month of its launch. This listing allows users to easily acquire and trade ATH tokens.
Additionally, during the launch month, Aethir distributed Aethir Cloud Drop rewards to eligible participants. This distribution was part of the Aethir Airdrop program, and loyal Aethirians and node holders received 1.5% of the ATH token supply as their share.
In tandem with the ATH token launch, Aethir unveiled its Mainnet, which allows users to set up and operate Checker Nodes. These Checker Nodes are an integral part of Aethir’s decentralized GPU Cloud and contribute to its stability. During the onboarding period, all Checker Nodes earned maximum daily rewards, regardless of their operational status. Over 91,000 Checker Node licenses were distributed to more than 22,000 community members, highlighting the growing interest and engagement from the user base.
