Anime Foundation has officially launched, partnering with Animoca Brands, MyAnimeList, and San FranTokyo. The Anime Foundation is a community-driven cultural protocol for anime and manga, aiming to bridge both web2 and web3 platforms. The partnership intends to create new opportunities and experiences for fans, creators, studios, and IP holders worldwide. The goal is to provide better opportunities and rewards for anime and manga creators, streamline distribution, and offer fans greater access to exclusive content and ownership in a global community. MyAnimeList and Animoca Brands Japan will utilize their industry networks and community engagement to attract talent and expertise. Meanwhile, Animoca Brands and San FranTokyo will leverage their broad ecosystems and blockchain technologies to develop new opportunities for fan engagement. Anime Foundation will also collaborate with Mocaverse, using its growth network to create systems for Account, Identity, Reputation, and PointFi. In addition, Mocaverse’s new Realm Network SDK will introduce Anime ID, a decentralized identifier and reputation layer, to facilitate the transition to web3 for users. The project aims to explore new monetization models and community-building initiatives using blockchain technology.
