BlackRock-backed Cipher Mining mines 176 Bitcoin in June, holds over 2,200 BTC

Cipher Mining, a leading Bitcoin mining firm backed by investment giant BlackRock, has announced its June Bitcoin mining results. In the month of June, the company successfully mined 176 Bitcoin (BTC), bringing its total holdings to over 2,200 BTC as of June 30. Cipher Mining also disclosed that it currently operates 75,000 mining rigs, with an operating hash rate of 8.6 EH/s by the end of June.

Describing June as a productive month, Cipher Mining shared that it activated an additional 30MW at both its Bear and Chief data centers. The CEO of Cipher, Tyler Page, expressed the company’s expansion efforts, stating that they have received and installed all new mining rigs at Bear and anticipate completing the installation at Chief by the end of this month.

In related news, another well-known Bitcoin mining company, CleanSpark, reported that it mined 445 BTC in June and has accumulated a total of 3,614 BTC throughout 2024. As of June 30, CleanSpark held 6,591 BTC.
