A cloud-centric Web3 altcoin has surged ahead of all other cryptocurrency projects in terms of recent development activity, according to Santiment, an analytics firm. Santiment reports that Internet Computer (ICP), a decentralized network focused on cloud functionality, registered 466.9 GitHub commits in the past 30 days, surpassing all other crypto projects. Santiment utilizes advanced methodology to collect data on genuine GitHub commits, excluding routine updates. Internet Computer aims to provide serverless cloud functionality to the public internet. As for other projects, Cardano (ADA) ranked second with 434.3 commits, followed by Polkadot (DOT) and Kusama (KSM) tied for third with 431.33 commits each. Santiment believes that heavy development activity is a positive indication of a project’s potential success and reduces the likelihood of it being an exit scam.
