‘Hamster Kombat’ Telegram Game Hits 100 Million Players—Here’s When the Token Is Coming

‘Hamster Warfare’ Telegram Game Surpasses 100 Million Players—Anticipated Token Release Date

Hamster Warfare, an exciting Telegram game that follows in the footsteps of the popular crypto game Notcoin, is gaining massive traction as it gears up for its token launch on The Open Network (TON). The game’s development team recently announced a remarkable milestone, reaching 100 million players on the Telegram mini app. This achievement is a significant feat for any game, especially considering that it will soon feature a crypto token. Hamster Warfare boasts a user-friendly interface and a simple clicking mechanism, making it easy for players to get started.

While the current player base hovers around 40-45 million daily active users, a substantial portion of these numbers may be attributed to new players. Nevertheless, the game’s data indicates a strong and engaged player community. Social media engagement is also on the rise, further bolstering the credibility of the reported player base. With over 27 million subscribers on its Telegram channel, Hamster Warfare has become the largest channel on the messaging app, surpassing the popularity of other games like Notcoin. Additionally, the game has accumulated nearly 17 million YouTube subscribers and has garnered almost six million followers on Twitter.

So, why are players immersed in the world of Hamster Warfare, tirelessly tapping their screens and engaging in a hamster-led fictional crypto exchange? Most players are likely participating in anticipation of receiving the eventual token airdrop. Notcoin, the game’s predecessor, experienced tremendous success with its token airdrop. As for Hamster Warfare, the release of its token is now within sight.

During a recent Twitter Spaces session held with the TON Foundation, a representative from the Hamster Warfare team, known as “Hamster Girl,” revealed that the target for token listing is July. However, this date is subject to change due to various factors such as compliance and negotiations. The TON Foundation confirmed this target separately, adding that the game’s team is actively working towards achieving it.

It’s worth noting that token listings can be delayed, as was the case with Notcoin. Initially planned to coincide with the Bitcoin halving on April 20, the Notcoin launch was postponed. After missing an end-of-April release, the token finally became available on May 16. However, the delayed launch proved to be advantageous for players who held onto their tokens, as Notcoin’s value has increased by 350% in the past two weeks, propelling it to become one of the top 60 cryptocurrencies with a market cap of $2.15 billion.

Hamster Warfare players are undoubtedly hopeful for a similar outcome once their token is released. The game’s buzz is also contributing to the success of Toncoin, the native token of The Open Network. Toncoin recently reached an all-time high price of $7.76, securing its place as the 10th most valuable cryptocurrency by market cap.

In contrast to Notcoin, Hamster Warfare is expected to continue uninterrupted gameplay even as the token launch approaches. Hamster Girl expressed that the game will keep evolving, introducing new mechanics, cards, and incentives for players to invite friends and play alongside each other.
