“Thanks to the software product that you approved, we launched the so-called Transparent Blockchain together with VTB Bank – it gives us the opportunity to still conduct investigations in cases related to cryptocurrency. Moreover, about 7,000 law enforcement officers, other concerned agencies are now connected to this transparent blockchain. And we have already connected six countries, which means that they are also using. This makes it possible to initiate criminal proceedings,” the head of Rosfinmonitoring said.
Earlier, Chikhankhin said that the number of transactions with digital assets in Russia tripled in a year. And in July this year, a contract killing was solved using the Transparent Blockchain system.
