“Illegal actions of a resident of the Sovetsko-Gavansky district of Khabarovsk Krai, who is involved in committing high treason by providing financial assistance to the AFU for actions against the security of the Russian Federation, were stopped,” the special services said.

A criminal case was opened against the detainee under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code “High Treason”.. He faces 12 to 20 years in prison or life in prison.

“The detainee with the use of cryptocurrency instruments made transfers of personal funds through third parties residing in Ukraine to the account of a foreign charity fund for the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles, thermal imaging sights, ammunition and medical uniforms by the AFU,” the service said.
