We bring you the latest weekly compilation of the 12 projects that raised money last week from various funds. Here are details about each of these projects:

– Web3’s decentralized credentials network, zkMe, has announced the closing of a $2 million pre-seed. With this recent funding, zkMe plans to complete testing and connect customers to the core network within a month. The company announced its first partnership with infrastructure projects, GameFi and DeFi through social media channels.

– Web3-payment infrastructure provider, Transak, has raised $20 million in investment. Seventeen investors participated in the Series A funding round, namely: CE Innovation Capital, Animoca Brands, IOSG, The LAO, Sygnum, Signum Capital, Woodstock Fund, and others. With the latest funds raised, Transak plans to expand its global presence and strengthen the development of its implementation solutions, particularly focusing on web3-based gaming and financial applications.

– Singapore-based NFT gaming platform DeGame has closed a $6.5 million funding round.. This round was led by Folius Ventures, Kenetic Capital and A&T Capital, with participation from NGC Ventures, Hack VC, Hashkey Capital, Avalanche, Golden Bull, Y2Z Ventures, Collingstar Capital, Sfermion, Bixin Ventures, Assembly Partners, FBG Capital, LucidBlue Ventures.

– MetaZone, the first and only platform that allows developers to create NFT for functional digital 3D content, managed to raise $3 million in a seed funding round. The round was co-led by Sfermion, CMT Digital, with participation from IOSG, Infinity Ventures Crypto, Polygon Studios, Tess Ventures, LucidBlue Ventures, MHC Digital Finance. The company is using the funds raised to expand our tokenized app platform, which pioneered META.

– Crypto startup Magic, which provides cryptocurrency wallets as a service, was able to raise $52 million in investment in a strategic funding round. PayPal Ventures became the main investor. Volt Capital, Cherubic Ventures, Northzone, KX, Synchrony Ventures also participated in the funding round. Magic simplifies the process of creating a wallet, allowing customers to quickly set up a new wallet using only their email or one touch through Google. The press release says the investment raised will be used to expand functionality to include a greater variety of use cases and deeper penetration into European Union and Asia-Pacific markets.

– Illuvium blockchain game studio co-founder, Kieran Warwick, announced that Illuvium has raised an additional $10 million from Framework Ventures through a token sale. Tokens will be blocked for two years and will not be stacked. The funds raised will be used to accelerate the development of Illuvium, as well as to support a distributed group of participants. The company will soon launch a AAA game universe with three games: Illuvium: Zero, Illuvium: Overworld and Illuvium: Arena.

– OpenEden, a liquid onchain pool that moves real assets to Web3, allowing stabelcoin owners to profit, has raised $5 million in investment from UXD Protocol. The company said the proceeds will be used to buy back $UXP tokens.

– HogwartsLabs, the dApps and Appchain developer and creator of QuestN, has closed a preliminary Series A funding round. 14 investors participated in the round, the main ones were: HashGlobal, MatrixPartner, Xin Family and DHVC. The successful $8 million funding round is expected to further accelerate Hogwarts Labs’ product development and global team expansion, and the company also plans to use the funds to expand QuestN’s business reach.

– Tether, a USDT stabelcoin issuer, is expanding its presence in Georgia with an investment in CityPay.io, which has over 600 locations nationwide, including stores, hotels, restaurants and more. Thanks to CityPay.io, customers of Wendy’s, Radisson Hotels and many others have access to a seamless payment experience. Tether, by investing in a startup, aims to improve the efficiency and convenience of the payment industry in Georgia.

– Anoma Architecture, which introduces a new operating system for decentralized applications, announces the completion of its 3rd round of funding totaling $25 million. The round was led by CMCC Global with participation from Electric Capital, Delphi Digital, Dialectic, KR1, Spartan, NGC, MH Ventures, Bixin Ventures, No Limit, WAGMI, Plassa, Perridon Ventures, Anagram and Factor as well as more private investors. 

– Demox Labs, which aims to create a next-generation wallet, has raised $4.5 million in investment led by HackVC. Also participating in the preliminary seed funding round were Coinbase Ventures, C² Ventures, DCVC, Dialectic Capital, OpenSea Ventures, Amplify, Partners, CRV, Kearny Jackson, Santiago R. Santos, Ryan Selkis

– Ethereum Virtual Machine – Kakarot zkEVM has closed a preliminary funding seed round.. The investors were venture capital funds StarkWare, LambdaClass and private investors Rand Hindi, Nicolas Bacca, and Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. Kakarot zkEVM uses STARK protocols to verify validated transactions and blocks, which provides transparency and security. With this confirmation, Kakarot inherits the security of Ethereum L1 and provides lower costs.
