Coinbase has suspended steaking services in four U.S. states

All four U.S. states have laws that say such warnings are followed by lawsuits in court.

Regulators from Maryland, Vermont, Kentucky, Illinois, Alabama and Washington have already filed lawsuits against Coinbase. Coinbase continues to provide steaking services in these six states.

This whole sequence of events comes after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sued Coinbase, alleging that the trading platform was acting as an unregistered broker. But we believe this is wrong in law for both our clients and the future of the crypto economy. Recall that shortly after the SEC filed suit against Coinbase and Binance, the outflow of funds from those trading platforms totaled nearly $4 billion in a week.
