Crypto Exchange YouHodler Announces Partnership with Ledger to Expand Live Services

According to a recent press release, YouHodler, a prominent crypto exchange, has announced a partnership with Ledger, the renowned hardware wallet provider. This collaboration marks a strategic effort to expand and enhance live services, aiming to provide a seamless trading experience with increased facilities.

Ledger Live Gets Advanced Trading Features

Ledger, a global leader in digital assets and Web3, has joined forces with YouHodler, a Swiss-based Web3 platform, to enhance the functionalities of Ledger Live services. This strategic partnership is focused on integrating advanced trading functionalities into the Ledger Live App, with the objective of improving crypto trading and user experience.

The collaboration between YouHodler and Ledger is a big deal because it brings together two amazing technologies. The goal of this partnership is to make it easy and straightforward for Ledger Live users to access crypto trading.

Ilya Volkov, CEO of YouHodler, said, “We are thrilled to take our partnership with Ledger to the next level by offering an upgraded integration into Ledger Live’s secure ecosystem. This enhancement aims to provide Ledger Live users with a frictionless pathway to explore and engage in cryptocurrency trading, empowering them to make the most of their digital assets directly within the Ledger Live ecosystem. As a token of appreciation, YouHodler is happy to provide an offer exclusively for Ledger users, enhancing your trading experience and maximizing the value of your digital assets.”

Jean-Francois Rochet, VP of Consumer Services at Ledger, shared that Ledger Live’s dedication to providing secure and efficient management of digital assets is in complete harmony with YouHodler’s aim to create an uninterrupted financial ecosystem for cryptocurrency enthusiasts. He emphasized the importance of self-custody of assets, especially in current times, and noted that using Ledger with Ledger Live offers a user-friendly portal into the digital asset world.

This is enhanced by various services that are improved through Ledger’s platform. Rochet highlighted that YouHodler has begun offering its sophisticated FinTech services via Ledger Live, widening the options for their users.

Ledger Makes Active Progress In Adoption

In March, YouHodler partnered with Ledger Live to allow users to obtain instant crypto loans directly through the app. This feature, located in the “Discover” section of Ledger Live, offers a high 90% loan-to-value ratio and a choice of 45 different cryptocurrencies as collateral. Top of Form

In August, Ledger also revealed a new integration with PayPal, enabling users to purchase select cryptocurrencies through their Ledger Live app using their PayPal accounts. This feature specifically allows Ledger users to buy Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Litecoin (LTC) if they have linked their PayPal accounts.

Any crypto purchased via the app will be directly transferred to a Ledger hardware wallet, with other options available on Ledger Live. Additionally, those who have previously bought cryptocurrencies via PayPal and stored them in different wallets have the option to transfer these funds to their Ledger wallet addresses in the usual way.

However, as Ledger continues to increase its market share and dominance, there have been plenty of fake apps running online to scam users. Almost $600,000 in Bitcoin was stolen from users who downloaded a fake Ledger Live application on Microsoft’s app store this month.

This isn’t the first instance of a counterfeit Ledger Live app appearing in Microsoft’s app store. On two different occasions, in December 2022 and March, Ledger’s support account on X alerted its users about a fraudulent Ledger Live app.

While Ledger has not specifically commented on this scam, the company has consistently advised its users that the safest and only recommended place to download Ledger Live is directly from its official website, ledger.com.
