The chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has said he will not back down in the cryptocurrency cases now in court.
Gary Gensler told reporters he is “fully compliant” and “well aware of his ethical responsibilities.”
This was Gensler’s response to the Blockchain Association’s open letter, which circulated in late June and called for Gensler to recuse himself from pursuing cases against cryptocurrency companies
