Somani addressed the accusations on social media, stating that the claims made against him were false but deserving of a serious and thoughtful response. He expressed his intention to allow senior leaders at Eclipse to take over his public responsibilities during this time, allowing the truth to come to light regarding the allegations. Eclipse, in a separate statement, emphasized its commitment to upholding high personal and professional standards, including gender equality and fair treatment. The Ethereum layer-2 blockchain scaling project recently secured $50 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding to $65 million.
