Shiba Inu Users Can Now Pay for Food Delivery Orders with SHIB

Shiba Inu owners now have the option to pay for their food delivery orders using SHIB, thanks to popular web3 food ordering and delivery marketplace DevourGO. The company recently announced that it has integrated SHIB as a payment method through Coinbase Commerce. In a tweet, DevourGO asked if it was the first-ever food delivery order paid for with SHIB, sparking excitement within the Shiba Inu community.

This integration with Coinbase Commerce comes after DevourGO’s previous integration, allowing customers to pay for their food deliveries using their Coinbase accounts. The process involves placing the order on DevourGO, selecting “Pay with Coinbase” at checkout, authorizing the transaction through the Coinbase account or wallet, and then waiting for confirmation.

The acceptance of SHIB as a payment method by DevourGO aligns with the growing trend of crypto payment processing firms like BitPay, Binance, and Coinbase embracing Shiba Inu. This acceptance indicates a shift for SHIB from being a mere memecoin to a utility asset. The increased adoption could potentially drive the demand and value of SHIB in the long run.

However, the news of DevourGO accepting SHIB did not have a positive impact on the token’s price, as it remained affected by the general downward trend in the crypto market. As of now, SHIB is trading at $0.00002157, with daily and weekly losses of 0.78% and 14.76% respectively. Other cryptocurrencies, including Solana (SOL) and XRP (XRP), have also experienced significant price declines.

Despite the market conditions, Shiba Inu enthusiasts remain confident in a potential recovery, primarily due to the continued support the token receives from influential entities.
