Skybridge Capital Founder Anthony Scaramucci Believes Restart of FTX Cryptocurrency Exchange Unlikely

According to Anthony Scaramucci, the founder of Skybridge Capital, there’s little hope of FTX cryptocurrency exchange restarting.

Skybridge Capital had experienced substantial losses on the exchange, but Scaramucci doesn’t believe that restarting it will recoup the funds.

“I don’t see how FTX can be restarted,” he said, noting that centralized crypto exchanges currently don’t generate much income and many are operating at a loss.

However, Scaramucci admits he’s been wrong before, and the crypto industry is full of surprises.

Restoring FTX would require repaying billions to investors, but Scaramucci believes it could be a positive for Skybridge if someone could pull it off.

He suggests selling licenses and platform software to pay off debts and launching it under a new brand without the old platform’s obligations.

Reports indicate that Tribe Capital has shown interest in the plan to revive FTX.
