UniSat Hits Record 9,600 Daily Users and 43% Market Share Following PIZZA Token Airdrop

UniSat, a leading Bitcoin service provider, is celebrating a new milestone with a record-breaking 9,600 unique daily users. This achievement solidifies the platform’s growing influence in the crypto community. On top of this, UniSat has also gained a 43% market share among Ordinals marketplaces, surpassing competitors like OKX and Magic Eden for the first time since September 2023.

This recent success can be attributed to UniSat’s airdrop of the BRC-20 token PIZZA. By offering free “slices” of pizza to eligible addresses, UniSat saw a surge in popularity. The price of PIZZA experienced a significant jump, going from 0.00008910 BTC ($6.18) to 0.000116 BTC ($8.04) following the airdrop. Although it has since stabilized at 0.0001085 BTC ($7.52), this success demonstrates the evolution of Bitcoin beyond a mere store of value.

Interestingly, despite the rise of other token standards within the Bitcoin ecosystem, such as Runes, BRC-20 tokens and Ordinals transactions have outperformed the competition. This trend has been ongoing since at least mid-April. The success of PIZZA further exemplifies Bitcoin’s growth through innovation in non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and decentralized finance (DeFi). Franklin Templeton has highlighted this transformation in its April report, noting the positive momentum in Bitcoin NFTs, new fungible tokens standards like BRC-20 and Runes, Bitcoin Layer-2s, and other Bitcoin DeFi primitives.

UniSat’s recent achievements and the success of the PIZZA token airdrop have positioned the company as a force to be reckoned with in the crypto space. As Bitcoin continues to evolve and embrace new technologies, UniSat stands at the forefront of innovation and user adoption.
