Xrpl Nfts Will Be Part Of A Massive Event Expected To Attract 28 Million People

Xrpl NFTs are set to make a groundbreaking appearance at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, which is projected to draw in a staggering 28 million attendees. This significant development was highlighted by Emi YOSHIKAWA, Ripple’s vice president of corporate strategy and operations, who dubbed it a “huge” deal. SBI Holdings, a Japanese giant, plans to leverage the XRP Ledger to issue non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to Expo visitors.

To obtain the NFT MYAKU-MYAKU, the official Expo character, participants will need to complete various missions at Explo. Additionally, those who use the Expo mobile app will have the chance to acquire additional NFTs. The inclusion of XRPL NFTs in such a massive event is expected to substantially enhance their exposure and validate their applicability in real-world scenarios, according to XRPL validator Vet.

World Expos, renowned for showcasing advancements in science, economics, and technology, are held once every five years. Dubai, United Arab Emirates, hosted the most recent World Expo in 2020, following Milan, Italy, in 2015. The inaugural World Expo took place in London, United Kingdom, in 1851, and since then, these grand gatherings have been regulated by the Bureau International des Expositions, established in Paris during the late 1920s. The Osaka World Expo is scheduled to run from April to October 2025 and promises to be a definitive platform for Xrpl NFTs’ breakthrough.
