Xumm Wallet Will Introduce XRP Tangem Prepaid Cards
The team at Xumm Wallet, one of the leading XRPL-based self-custody wallets, is working on releasing the Xumm + Tangem card with a prepaid XRP balance of up to $50. Wietse WIND, founder of XRPL Labs, the team behind Xumm, talked about this in a recent post on X. Wind shared a screenshot of a page detailing how to order a Xumm + Tangem card.
Xumm Wallet has already partnered with renowned hardware wallet manufacturer Tangem. Two years ago, Tangem hardware cards with the Xumm brand arrived at the Tangem store. The partnership was aimed at improving security and seamless integration between both platforms.
The recent update aims to allow customers to pre-load their Xumm+Tangem cards at the point of order. With the update, customers can now pre-load up to $50 worth of XRP onto the card. At the time of writing, this equates to 82 XRP relative to the prevailing price.
