The Solana blockchain developers unveiled an open-source plugin for the ChatGPT neural network that allows users to interact directly with the Solana network from within the ChatGPT interface.
According to Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder and CEO of Solana Labs, the support of Solana in the ChatGPT interface will make working with blockchain easier and clearer.
The plugin can be used to buy non-exchangeable tokens (NFTs), transfer cryptoassets, view transactions and public account data, and search for the cheapest NFT collections.
“This integration from Solana Labs exemplifies how AI can simplify Solana’s understanding of data and protocols, as well as make it easier to work with the blockchain computing infrastructure and DeFi projects,” the developers said in a statement.
Yakovenko stressed that any developer who is trying to improve the user experience should consider implementing AI support because it is “a new paradigm in computer management.”
Solana Foundation already had a grant program for projects using blockchain and AI.
The program has now been increased from $1 million to $10 million. The organization has already received more than 50 applications for participation.
Earlier, Solana developers unveiled an online panel that monitors the amount of carbon dioxide emitted in real time when a blockchain is running.
