Famous cryptocurrency opponent Peter Schiff, who has repeatedly “predicted” the collapse of Bitcoin, is going to release his own collection of NFT, and it is based on the Bitcoin network.
Despite all his statements against bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, Peter Schiff said that he will launch a collection called “Golden Triumph”.
The images for the NFT will be provided by his “favorite artist” under the pseudonym of Market Price.
“This collaboration will create a collection of original Golden Triumph images and commit them to the Bitcoin blockchain through the Ordinals project,” Schiff wrote.
As part of the Golden Triumph project, an artist will paint one painting in oil paints. Then 50 copies will be made on paper and 50 digital copies as NFTs.
The collection will be sold at two auctions, taking place June 2 through June 9.
Schiff’s announcement received mixed reactions from the cryptocurrency community. One user even asked what time line he was in and what was even going on.
In April, Peter Schiff urged the cryptocurrency community to “prepare for another bitcoin crash.”
