Gleeder integrated into nDapp.org

Gleeder is now fully integrated into nDapp.org, providing users with an alternative frontend to the official page. This integration is aimed at enhancing accessibility and raising awareness about Gleeder, a tool that enables users to swap NEO into GAS without requiring GAS to pay for the transaction upfront.

nDapp.org has now integrated three major Neo on-chain tools for its users. Apart from Gleeder, the platform also offers governance voting and token swapping capabilities through Flamingo.

Gleeder is specifically designed to streamline transactions for new users of the Neo N3 blockchain. Users who have migrated NEO from Legacy or purchased tokens from an exchange can begin accumulating claimable GAS. However, they may not have a current GAS balance to perform actions such as voting on the network.

To overcome this challenge, Gleeder utilizes a proxy contract to cover the upfront GAS fees for executing transactions. A portion of the GAS obtained from the trade is sent to the proxy as compensation for the transaction fees paid, while the remaining GAS is returned to the user for future transactions.

Currently, only NEO to GAS conversions are supported by Gleeder. However, there is a possibility of adding other NEP-17 tokens tradable on Flamingo, depending on the level of support from Gleeder.
