DOGE, SHIB, and PEPE are among the top-performing cryptocurrencies today, as Bitcoin (BTC) rises to $63,000. Bitcoin experienced a week of adverse trading, with the price dropping multiple times. However, it managed to recover and reach a multi-day peak of over $63,500. Currently, BTC sits at around $63,000 with a 6% daily increase. Its market cap has risen to $1.240 trillion, and it holds a dominance of 50.5% over other cryptocurrencies.
In the altcoin sector, meme coins have seen significant gains. Dogecoin, the largest meme coin, has surged by over 12% and is now trading at $0.15. PEPE and SHIB have also followed suit, with gains of 11.7% and 8% respectively. Another standout gainer is STX, which has soared by 14% to $2.4.
Ethereum (ETH) and Binance Coin (BNB) have also seen increases of around 3.5%. ETH has surpassed $3,100, while BNB is at $585.
Other larger-cap altcoins such as TON, BC, AVAX, NEAR, and HBAR are also in the green. The total crypto market cap has recovered more than $200 billion since Wednesday’s low and now stands at $2.460 trillion.
