1inch Network Integrates with Kaikas Wallet: Enhancing Cryptocurrency Swaps and Access

  • 1inch Network announced integration with Kaikas, a cryptocurrency wallet developed under the auspices of the Kakao Group.
  • Before that, the aggregator partnered with Ground X, another portfolio organization of the conglomerate.
  • The agreement will open up users’ access to high-performance swaps.

Aggregator 1inch Network has announced integration with Klaytn Foundation’s non-custodial wallet Kaikas. Company officials told Incrypted.

As part of the agreement, the platform’s API will be integrated into the service for convenient and efficient exchange of crypto assets.

The company noted that Kaikas is one of the most popular cryptocurrency storage solutions in South Korea. The service was launched in 2019.

Since April 2020, the wallet has been available as an extension for Google Chrome and Firefox. It handles more than 1 million transactions in over 300 dApps.

The IT conglomerate Kakao Group is behind the development of Kaikas. As a reminder, in early August 2023, 1inch Network announced a partnership with Ground X, the company’s portfolio organization.

As part of the agreement, the aggregator’s API has been integrated into another cryptocurrency wallet, Klip, available on mobile devices.

“The integration of 1inch Network’s leading DEX aggregation capabilities into the Kaikas wallet will provide users with a seamless token exchange on the Klaytn network, allowing them to experience the full extent of the dynamic ecosystem,” Klaytn Foundation Authorized Director Sam Seo.

He also emphasized that improving the wallet’s user interface is the main driver for further adoption.

The integration of the 1inch Network API will give Kaikas account holders access to the best exchange rates and swap routes, the company emphasized.

The engine is based on the Pathfinder solution. It’s an algorithm for discovery and routing designed to optimize the cost of gas and make transactions more efficient.
