Andreessen Horowitz launches a16z Perennial Evergreen Fund

  • It will get $105 million in assets under management
  • And focus on investing in promising stocks

Venture investing giant Andreessen Horowitz has launched a new fund, this time in evergreen capital. It is called a16z Perennial Venture Capital Fund and is registered in the United States. The new structure will be headed by investment director Michel Del Buono, who joined the company last year. The fund has a total of eight employees.

New Fund has a regulated AUM (assets under management) of $105 million. Its business unit includes 18 private investor clients.

a16z Perennial Venture Capital Fund will offer users advice as well as portfolio management services. They will work with both individuals and small businesses.

Experts believe Andreessen Horowitz picked a promising time to launch the evergreen fund. Now the public market is in decline due to unfavorable macroeconomics. The price of many publicly traded stocks has fallen, giving the assets great upside potential.
