The price of the world’s first cryptocurrency could rise to $150,000 by early 2025, analysts at Bernstein said in a research report on recent fluctuations in the value of bitcoin.
Bernstein analyst Gautam Chhugani expects the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to authorize the launch of a bitcoin-ETF by the first quarter of 2024.
Bernstein’s valuation is about five times the current price of BTC at around $34,000 and more than double the bitcoin’s record high of $67,000 set in November 2021.
