- Darren talks about BitKeep and the strategy to grow the service

We have a new speaker next, and it’s Darren Wu, head of content at BitKeep. As part of an online marathon at Incrypted Conference 2023, he presented factors and incentives that, in theory, could help attract an additional 1 billion users to the service.
Note that BitKeep is a decentralized non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet. Earlier, the company struck an important deal with Bitget, securing an additional $30 million investment.
Not just storage alone
“Our biggest focus is how to break the stereotype and common notion of a ‘good wallet,'” said Darren.
Wu said BitKeep is focused on giving the user a maximum experience in one service. This includes access to the NFT marketplace, a built-in dApp browser, and more.
How can you attract 1 billion users?
Wu sees several factors contributing to this, such as:
- cross-chain interoperability;
- comfortable user interface;
- high security;
- learning.</nbsp;
Wu cited networking and customizable Web3 services as the first factor.. In his view, this is the key to further development of both the service and the ecosystem as a whole.
At the same time, this is not possible without prioritizing further strengthening of security measures.. In terms of specific steps, these are the DESM mechanism, biometric authentication and damage coverage programs.
