Donald Trump Criticizes Powell, Biden’s Policies, and Inflation Trends

  • The former president said he never liked Powell.
  • The politician accused the head of the regulator of criminal procrastination and ineffective agency policy.
  • He also commented on Biden’s economic decisions. Trump believes the latter could “wreck” the country.

Ex-President Donald Trump said Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is failing in his duties. Moreover, the politician was surprised when he re-took the chair of the regulator’s head.

“I think he is late all the time. Whether it was good or bad, he was always slow to make decisions. I was surprised when he was re-elected.

Maybe it was because I don’t like him.. I don’t think he’s coping. I pressed him, if I hadn’t done that, inflation would have been higher” the politician emphasized.

In the interview, Trump called Joe Biden’s policies a “disgrace”. He said that during his term, inflation remained within 1.9 percent, while under the current head of state this figure seems unattainable, he emphasized.

“Our country is going to hell. And we don’t do anything. We have the power, but it’s getting weaker.

I’m talking about our currency,” Trump noted – “But you look at what’s happening to it now that other countries aren’t using it.

China is looking to replace the dollar with the yuan. Under us [the Trump administration], that was just unthinkable.”

The politician said the reason for the current high inflation is due to the energy market. Trump said the moratorium on offshore drilling was a mistake.

The former president also addressed Biden’s physical condition. He said he can’t lead the country when he can barely “string two sentences together” and requires assistance to get down the stairs.
