Merkle Science CEO: “Cryptocurrency companies will not leave the U.S. despite government pressure

  • Mrigangka Pattnaik is confident that there will be no global exodus in the next five years
  • The US offers a vast field for innovation as well as a top-notch talent base
  • It’s not in other markets

Mrigangka Pattnaik, the CEO of Merkle Science, believes that there will be no global exodus of cryptocurrency companies from the US. At least in the short-to-medium term.

He shared his opinion on the matter with the Cointelegraph. When asked how Pattnaik feels about the current course of U.S. authorities, he replied as follows:

“My opinion here is the opposite.. In five, I think most of the activity will still be flowing in the States.”

The CEO of Merkle Science attributed this point to two main factors – a vast field for innovation and a top-notch talent pool. India, China, UAE can provide strong consumer markets, but lose out on the quality of intellectual capital.</nbsp;

In addition, despite pressure from the SEC, the states maintain regulatory clarity in other areas, such as taxation.</nbsp;

Remind that Coinbase CEO has previously stated that the “war” on cryptocurrency in the US is beneficial to China. That said, according to Armstrong, jurisdictions such as Hong Kong are not suitable for large CEX. And it is this market that is considered the most promising in Asia. Before that, according to unconfirmed reports, the exchange was preparing to move. But later this information was denied.
