Telegram Update Enables Bitcoin Transactions Through Wallet Bot

Thanks to a recent update on Telegram, messenger users can now easily buy, sell, and send bitcoins to one another through the Wallet bot web interface.

According to the official announcement, the updated web interface allows users to purchase, withdraw, exchange, and make P2P transactions with BTC.

Users can buy bitcoins with a bank card or P2P transaction by selecting the appropriate section of the drop-down menu using the “Market” button in the web interface.

Additionally, Telegram users can go to the updated “Exchange” section to exchange not only BTC, but also USDT and TON.

To buy and exchange bitcoins, users simply need to add @wallet to the attachment menu.

This recent update comes after messenger users were given the opportunity in March to buy, sell, exchange, and transfer Tether (USDT) stablecoins for free directly in chats.

It is worth noting that last year, Telegram owners announced the launch of a cryptocurrency payment service in TON through an unofficial Telegram Wallet bot.
