The Tether USD stackcoin hit a new all-time high. Its market capitalization exceeded $83.2 billion. The previous ATN asset recorded in May 2022.
Technical Director Paolo Ardoinho has already had time to comment on such news:
“Today’s numbers show that people want access to financial freedom, and once they get that access, they will take advantage of it.”
He added that the company will continue to develop “a strong, sustainable and powerful financial, communications and energy ecosystem.”. It will include peer-to-peer payment systems, bitcoin, stabelcoin, and renewable energy mining.

Reminder that yesterday Tether announced the launch of eco-mining in Uruguay. And before that, the company promised to invest up to 15% of its profits in buying bitcoins. So the company’s interests have long gone beyond issuing stabelcoins.
The market capitalization of USDT has increased by about 20% since the beginning of the year. This asset continues to dominate the stablcoin sphere. But the position of their main competitor USDC noticeably sagged. Read more in our separate review.
