Consensys, the operator of the MetaMask cryptocurrency wallet, announced the launch of alerts about suspicious transactions. The function is available for each wallet user by default.
The solution from ConsenSys and Blockaid is available to clients of the browser version and mobile application of MetaMask. The new feature automatically sends alerts about transactions that have signs of phishing and hacking.
As Consensys representatives promise, thanks to the new feature, clients will be able to learn about suspicious transactions before they are signed. The function supports work on several networks: Ethereum, BNB Chain, Linea, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism and Avalanche.
Previously, the developers of the MetaMask wallet presented a service for staking ether, which serves to optimize the launch of validator nodes.
