In March, the OKX crypto exchange registered in the Seychelles will stop providing services to clients from the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Uzbek users must close all open positions by March 15, and have time to withdraw their funds by March 30. The cryptocurrency exchange promises the security of clients’ finances until withdrawal.
The exchange apologizes for the inconvenience caused, but has not yet explained the reason for its refusal to provide services to OKX clients located in Uzbekistan.
Earlier, the authorities of Uzbekistan tightened control over crypto companies – the country introduced criminal liability for unlicensed mining and circulation of cryptocurrency assets without the permission of local authorities.
