  • It consists of unique NFT photos
  • Tokens complement the film negative

Japan’s largest airline, All Nippon Airways (ANA), has launched an NFT marketplace with its “subsidiary” ANA Neo.. It’s called the ANA GranWhale NFT Marketplace, and it’s about aviation.

This platform goes beyond traditional marketplaces. According to the creators, it breaks new ground in the world of cryptocurrencies.

The project introduced the first NFT collection made from digital aerial photos. Its author is the famous aerial photographer Lukasz Ozawa.

One of the photographs will be sold together with a negative so that the buyer can develop the film if they wish.. Such an exhibit sells for 100,000 yen, and the negative can be bought at auction.

The project is preparing to present a second collection on June 7. It will include NFT photos of the first Boeing 787, which appeared in the ANA fleet.

“Tokens will be sold as a 3D model of the aircraft. They are divided into 2 types with 787 items each. A total of 1,574 items at 7,870 yen per token.”

Airlines at ANA have annual revenues of $12.2 billion.

They plan to expand the NFT product line and even launch their own meta-universe in the future. There, passengers will be able to fly their planes through virtual worlds.

As long as NFTs are sold by credit card. Whether the platform will support crypto-purses is still unclear.

By the way, Mercedes Benz is also preparing an NFT collection called Web3 Arm.
