Biggest UK Fintech Launches Trading Platform Supporting XRP

Largest UK Fintech Unveils XRP Trading Platform to Shake Up Crypto Market

Revolut, the leading fintech company in the United Kingdom, has launched a cutting-edge cryptocurrency trading platform that firmly supports XRP and various other digital assets.

With the release of Revolut X, a crypto trading service catering specifically to professional crypto traders, Revolut is staking its claim in the fast-paced cryptocurrency exchange arena. The company made the official announcement on May 7th through a press statement on its website.

The key objective behind the launch of this professional-grade trading platform is to compete with top exchanges by providing a seamless trading experience for users, along with competitive fees. Revolut X boasts a zero maker fee and a 0.09% taker fee, regardless of the trade size. Existing Revolut users can fully benefit from the integrated trading experience within the Revolut ecosystem without any fees, restrictions, or obstacles.

Traders on Revolut X must have a Revolut retail account to access the new exchange. They will enjoy real-time trading and advanced analytics. notably, Revolut X has incorporated TradingView charts to offer a comprehensive suite of market tracking tools and technical indicators.

One intriguing aspect of Revolut X is its support for XRP. Seasoned crypto traders can now buy and sell over 100 cryptocurrencies, including XRP, in a desktop environment for the first time. It’s important to note that the stand-alone exchange platform is designed specifically for larger screens like laptops and is not compatible with smaller devices like mobile phones.

In terms of security, Revolut ensures that most users’ assets are kept in cold storage. Revolut’s decision to include XRP among the 100 cryptocurrencies supported in the initial launch phase has received positive reactions from the XRP community.

Well-known community figure WrathofKahneman suggested that Revolut X’s zero maker fees and nominal 0.09% taker fee could position it as a formidable rival to Uphold, a popular U.S.-based crypto platform recognized for its support of XRP.

Revolut X also supports other prominent digital assets such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and Dogecoin (DOGE).

Revolut started as a money transfer service in the UK in 2015 and has since grown to become one of the most influential fintech enterprises in the country, with a global user base exceeding 40 million. In 2017, Revolut ventured into the crypto space, enabling users to purchase, hold, and exchange digital currencies. Now, with the introduction of this stand-alone trading platform, the company is further solidifying its position as the premier financial application for both novice and expert cryptocurrency users.
