Animoca Brands Japan launches its NFT launchpad ‘SORAH’

Animoca Brands Japan is gearing up to launch its NFT launchpad platform, known as SORAH. The launchpad is scheduled to go live in the summer of 2024 and will serve as a platform for selling and supporting NFT projects and creators. Animoca Brands Japan, a strategic subsidiary of Animoca Brands, plans to offer marketing support and sales options to selected NFT projects featured on SORAH. Additionally, the company intends to implement loyalty programs, including NFTs, to provide users with various benefits associated with the platform.

The launch of SORAH by Animoca Brands Japan is part of the company’s broader mission to bridge the gap between Japan and the global NFT community. By leveraging Japanese intellectual property and content, such as manga and anime, the company aims to promote cross-cultural exchange and generate global-interest content in Japan. SORAH by Animoca Brands Japan is set to launch later this year and will accommodate payments via credit cards and crypto assets. The platform will be supported by Ethereum and Polygon, with Metamask and WalletConnect serving as wallets. The token standard used will be ERC-721.
