Binance updates deposit addresses on the platform

  • The old ones will gradually be removed over the coming months
  • The exchange plans to complete this process by the end of the third quarter
  • This only needs to be done by those users who are notified
  • For the new address, simply sign in with the app or online

On July 6, Binance published an update to the deposit address.. Some users of the site will soon be notified that they need to get a new account and memo (memo tag).

“Binance is updating its wallet infrastructure to improve efficiency and security for its audience. We’ll be removing deposit addresses in batches across networks,” the release said.

There’s also a table indicating which of the assets to get a new note tag for. These include XRP, HBAR, RUNE, KAVA, IOST, STX, WAX, SCRT, INJ and others.. Simply log in to the app or to the platform site.

But even if it’s deleted, the user still has access to the content.. This can be done in the “Transaction History” section. Binance plans to finish updating deposit addresses by the end of this quarter. Recall that in April the exchange conducted such a procedure for ETH. Binance has resorted to this practice not only to keep the infrastructure up-to-date, but also because of the ever-increasing load.
