At a university in Cyprus you can get a master’s degree in metaclassical science

The University of Nicosia is expanding its academic offerings by introducing new blockchain programs. One of these is the master’s program in metaverse, which will teach students how to design and manage virtual worlds.

The Master of Science (MSc) in Metaverse is a program that covers various areas aimed at developing the metaverse. This program includes aspects of architecture, finance, politics, social sciences, and many others that contribute to the formation and expansion of the metacommunity.

The course will last a year from September through August, and the program is broken into three semesters. The main focus is on two areas: metaverse design and metaverse management.

In the process, students will explore topics such as augmented reality and virtual reality, NFT, blockchain data skills, marketing and project management.

University of Nicosia professor George Giaglis said: 

“The metaverse is an advanced form of human interaction and has great potential in various areas. Our goal is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to help them reach their potential and excel in this exciting new field.”

Each year, to encourage students to apply, UNIC will allocate 300,000 euros to implement a scholarship program to support those students who need financial assistance.
