The Binance exchange reported a temporary suspension of deposits for ten Multichain bridge token networks amid uncertainty about the project’s future.
On Thursday, May 25, the largest cryptocurrency exchange tweeted a notice of temporary deposit blocking for POLS-BSC, ACH-BSC, BIFI-FTM, SUPER-BSC, AVA-ETH, SPELL-AVAXC, ALPACA-FTM, FTM-ETH, FARM-BSC and DEXE-BSC networks.

The Binance team has announced to users that the transaction ban will remain in place until clarification is received from the Multichain team to restore operations.
Binance clarified that the decision applies only to the Multichain protocol and does not affect deposits of the mentioned assets in other networks.
Earlier it was reported in the media that some of the interconnect routes of the Multichain protocol suddenly stopped working due to force majeure.
According to unconfirmed reports, people in the Multichain leadership may have been arrested by Chinese authorities.
