BitBoy Crypto ignores court hearing in FTX exchange case and faces possible arrest

Crypto blogger BitBoy Crypto, whose real name is Ben Armstrong, has missed a court hearing related to a lawsuit against FTX exchange and threats made by Armstrong towards plaintiffs’ lawyer Adam Moskowitz.

Armstrong was supposed to testify in the case, but instead he posted a photo of himself on a beach in the Bahamas on Twitter and stated that he had no intention of giving evidence.

Moskowitz had filed a civil lawsuit against Armstrong for repeated calls and letters with threats of physical violence.

Armstrong’s behavior was not taken lightly by Florida federal judge Melissa Damian, who announced his possible criminal prosecution and forced trial.

If Armstrong fails to appear in court by April 24, a warrant for his arrest will be issued.

This comes after a group of investors filed a class-action lawsuit against Armstrong for promoting the bankrupt FTX exchange on his YouTube channel.
