Coinbase intends to first focus on Washington, D.C., where it plans to make the public aware of the future of cryptocurrencies in the global financial crisis and the reasons for regulatory challenges.
“Coinbase is launching Crypto: Moving America Forward, a national campaign designed to explain the critical importance of cryptocurrency as a core technology that can renew the global financial system.
We hope we can get the word out: disregarding the technology that will be at the center of the global financial infrastructure is a threat to global economic leadership and U.S. national security,” reads the announcement of the advertising campaign on the exchange’s website.
Coinbase’s advertising campaign will begin with a series of four commercials featuring CEO Brian Armstrong that will air on popular Sunday shows throughout the month.
Earlier, the CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, Brian Armstrong, urged users to vote for political candidates who support the crypto industry to oppose financial regulators.
