Ducati Takes Marc Marquez and Begins to Accept Cryptocurrencies

Ducati has made a groundbreaking move by securing the services of Marc Márquez, one of the top MotoGP racers, as their teammate alongside Pecco Bagnaia. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, Ducati has also partnered with Bitnovo Pay to accept cryptocurrencies as a form of payment in Spain. This means that Ducati customers can now purchase motorcycles using digital currencies, offering a modern and flexible shopping experience.

Ducati’s acquisition of Márquez has elevated the brand’s status in the Spanish market, making them one of the most sought-after motorcycle manufacturers in the country. Through their official dealer, Ducati Alicante, fans of the brand can easily access motorcycles, accessories, components, and original spare parts.

Bitnovo, a cryptocurrency company founded in 2015, is leading the way in making cryptocurrencies more accessible and usable. Their partnership with Ducati Alicante allows them to expand their presence in the commercial motorcycle sector in Spain.

Spain has been one of the fastest adopters of cryptocurrencies in Europe. According to Statista, the country’s cryptocurrency market is expected to earn $928.9 million this year and reach a total of $1,352 million by 2028, with an annual compound interest rate of 9.84%. Cryptocurrencies are being used in various ways in Spain, including for transactions, savings, and investments.

The recent addition of more than 700 Cepsa locations enabling the purchase of cryptocurrencies through Bitnovo vouchers is a clear example of the growing adoption of digital currencies in Spain. Additionally, a cryptocurrency adoption report by Chainalysis revealed that Europe is the second-largest market for cryptocurrencies worldwide, following the USA.

With Ducati embracing cryptocurrencies and the growing adoption of digital currencies in Spain, it is evident that the motorcycle industry is ready to embrace the future of finance and technology.
